Conversational Headshots in Colorado Springs

Getting headshots can be just as intimidating as boudoir. Not only do you need to pick out your outfits, you have to show yourself in a way that compliments who you are and what persona you want to show. 

Picking the right photographer for something like this is highly important. You want to be able to vibe with them and have them show you in your element. However this tends to not happen from what I've seen in many other peoples work. Many headshots I see tend to look like adult school photos. Drab backgrounds with no personality, poses that seem cookie cutter, smiles that are fake, expressions that sadly can sometimes look pained and awkward. 

So what makes what I do for headshots in Colorado Springs different than what you might find elsewhere? 

I offer what I call conversational headshots. We will chat and discuss what you do and why you do it. What some of your goals and dreams are. How you're accomplishing them, ways that you want to improve. How you're going to use these images. 

I'll capture you in motion using your hands, face and body language. I'll capture real smile and laughter, and when you make a pose naturally that I think will look really good as a 'posed' look, I'll have you stay in that as I shoot, so that you have some of the images that are more traditional but with an energy that's all you. 

For in studio sessions I offer 1-3 outfit and set changes, same day edit, reveal and ordering and you'll walk away feeling amazing!

For outdoor or on site sessions you can still do 1-3 outfit changes and we can discuss locations for the shoot and how many options I think would work for the time period allowed.
